Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Consultant in Raleigh, NC to join our Health Sciences team focusing on industrial hygiene. You will lead investigations, assess exposure risks, and deliver client-ready documentation with mentor support from CIH professionals.

You will collaborate with diverse teams, participate in field activities, and develop health and safety programs while advancing your IH credentials. Hybrid work in Raleigh, with travel up to 40% and a strong emphasis on sustainable change.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial hygiene experience with exposure monitoring, sampling equipment, and interpreting results.
• Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills for client deliverables.
• Current or pursuing professional industrial hygiene certifications.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and cross-train across IH, OH&S, and related disciplines.
• Willing to perform field activities and travel up to 40% with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead IH investigations and exposure assessments for chemical, physical, and indoor environmental hazards.
• Document field observations, sampling activities, and develop technical reports and exposure assessments.
• Communicate professionally with employees, site representatives, subcontractors, and project teams during field activities.
• Support multidisciplinary teams with health and safety program development and training materials.
