Job summary

Jobot in Appleton, WI is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to drive power distribution, lighting, and grounding designs for industrial EPCm projects across various sectors. The role blends design leadership with on-site startup support and collaboration with client engineers and maintenance teams.

You will design, coordinate and oversee electrical systems from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with NEC/ANSI/NEMA/NFPA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and installing medium- and low-voltage distribution equipment.
• Familiarity with NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA codes and standards.
• Ability to manage on-site plant projects independently while maintaining quality and safety.
• Strong organizational skills with track record of meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and CAD systems (AutoCAD).
• Preferred PE license or EIT with potential to obtain PE.

Responsibilities

• Design power system facilities from conception to operation and maintenance.
• Create conceptual layouts and sketches to optimize project designs.
• Lead detailed phases of electrical engineering projects, contributing to planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop precise equipment and construction specifications and scope of work documents for contractors.
• Oversee installation integrity, ensuring design and equipment compliance and safety.
• Produce essential technical documentation including one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, panel layouts, and motor schematics.
• Address grounding requirements with expertise in high resistance, building, and isolated grounding systems.
• Provide on-site startup support to guarantee project success and client satisfaction.
