Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an In-Vehicle Network Analysis Engineer to turn complex data into actionable insights for network performance modeling. You will build tools, define KPIs, and lead a center of excellence for network analysis within EVDD.

You will develop scalable analysis software, simulate network behavior, and translate results into executive dashboards to guide architectural decisions. Hybrid work and a strong emphasis on TDD and agile methods are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to translate data into actions.
• 2+ years of software development in Python, C++, or Java focusing on data analysis or back-end systems.
• Foundational knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and CAN, Ethernet, LIN.
• Experience in developing analytical tools and defining KPIs to measure performance.
• Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) with executable specs.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable software for in-vehicle network bandwidth analysis and latency tracking.
• Define KPIs for network modeling and change management.
• Develop network simulation models for what-if analysis of features and architecture.
• Translate analysis results into reports and dashboards for architects and leadership.
• Integrate network KPIs into the CI/CD pipeline for ongoing health checks.
• Collaborate with Network Architects and Platform experts to validate architectural choices.
• Set standards for software quality, testing, and agile practices.
