GlobalFoundries U.S. Inc. is seeking an Entra ID & AD Architect (SME) to drive design, security, and operations of hybrid identity. This senior IC owns architecture and escalations, delivering resilient identity in collaboration with security and cloud teams.

The role requires deep expertise in on-prem AD, Entra ID, federation, governance, and incident response. You will produce high-quality docs and mentor engineers while guiding complex deployments.

Qualifications

• Education – Bachelor in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience – Minimum 15 years in field.
• Fluency in English language – written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hybrid-identity architecture (AD, Entra ID, Entra Connect).
• Document target-state identity reference architectures and designs.
• Configure Entra ID features: SSO/SAML/OIDC, App Proxy, B2B/B2C, groups.
• Automate identity ops with PowerShell and Graph API.
• Partner with SecOps on identity threat detection and incident response.
• Serve as Tier-3 escalation for complex identity incidents.
• Set standards, guardrails, and review designs from juniors/partners.
• Create high-quality docs: HLDs, LLDs, runbooks, ADRs.
• Mentor engineers and uplift team identity capabilities.
