Job summary

AZAD Technology Partners in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a System Administrator to manage and troubleshoot hybrid identity environments, focusing on Domain Administration and synchronization between on-prem AD and Entra ID. The role requires active directory expertise, Kerberos/LDAP, SSO, and security-focused operations.

This full-time, on-site position offers an hourly rate between $58.00 and $65.00, with strong benefits and long-term employment potential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
With an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in applicable fields, 8 years of experience is required.
With an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree not in applicable fields or without a degree, 10 years of experience is required.
Experience performing System Administration in IT environments.
5 years knowledge of Active Directory domains, DNS, ADCS, DFS.
7 years troubleshooting Windows OS using event logs and utilities.
5 years with TCP/IP and related services.
5 years with Kerberos authentication and AD integration; LDAP and hybrid-joined infrastructure.
2 years with AD Federation Services, SaaS authentication, and identity concepts.
2 years with Entra ID, SSO, SAML/OAuth/OpenID Connect, SCIM; FIDO2 security keys desirable.
U.S. Driver's License or RealID required.
Preferred: Nessus, Puppet Enterprise, PowerShell automation, VMware vSphere.

Responsibilities

Administer and troubleshoot domain infrastructure in hybrid identity environments.
Manage Active Directory domains and services including DNS, ADCS, DFS.
Support authentication in SaaS and hybrid-joined setups; implement SSO and identity protocols.
Automate processes with PowerShell and maintain Windows OS and packaging.
Participate in security/compliance activities per facility policies.
