Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the United States seeks an experienced Hardware Engineer to drive the definition, configuration, and lifecycle management of server platforms and BOMs. You will work across Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Sales, and Support to ensure configurations are validated, orderable, and aligned with product strategy.

The successful candidate will lead NPI, platform roadmap planning, and lifecycle governance, requiring strong server expertise and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years in server hardware, platform engineering, configuration management or related role.
• Experience developing hardware configurations and BOMs for enterprise products.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, product, sales, manufacturing, and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and sustain server configurations and BOMs for ISV partner solutions.
• Review BOM and configuration details for test plans, validation, and releases.
• Track server lifecycles and maintain roadmap/change reports.
• Support configuration menus, option structures, and business rules in ordering tools.
• Provide technical guidance for field sales inquiries and large-deal configurations.
• Assist with root cause investigations and customer escalations.
• Support lab hardware setup, configuration, maintenance, and testing.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Support.
