Job summary

Westlake Dermatology is seeking a full-time HR Assistant & Recruiter to support recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR operations. The role collaborates with clinics and hiring managers, creates job postings, screens resumes, and coordinates interviews.

Experience with ADP Recruiting/ADP Workforce Now and healthcare recruitment is preferred. The position may offer a work-from-home arrangement after an initial in-office training period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1–3 years in HR, recruiting, staffing or related admin role.
• Medical office experience preferred (1+ year).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Recruiting.
• Healthcare/dermatology recruitment experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with ability to multitask.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of general medical office procedures and terminology.
• Discretion with employee information.
• Initiative to solve problems and complete projects.
• Able to sit for long periods.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires.
• Maintain recruiting templates and interview guides.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR operations.
• Partner with clinics and hiring managers across the organization.
• Create, post, and maintain job postings.
• Review resumes and conduct initial screenings.
• Conduct phone or virtual interviews and coordinate schedules.
• Provide candidates with a positive experience.
• Track candidates and maintain recruiting activity in ADP.
• Assist with extending offers and communicating details.
• Coordinate onboarding from offer to start date.
• Assist with I-9 and employment eligibility documentation.
• Coordinate new hire training schedules.
• Communicate start-date information to hires and managers.
• Maintain onboarding records and follow up.
