Job summary

GFT is seeking a Highway Project Manager to join the Eastern PA Highway Team on a hybrid basis in Audubon, Philadelphia or Allentown, PA. You will lead highway projects, ensuring on-time delivery and strong client relationships while adhering to PennDOT/Turnpike standards.

The role requires 10+ years of progressive highway design experience, PE license in PA, and expertise in MS Office; MicroStation/OpenRoads experience is preferred. Hybrid role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE License registered in Pennsylvania required.
• Experience with PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpikes design policies, standards and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering design tasks for highway projects from preliminary to final design.
• Oversee development of construction contract documents, including plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Establish and maintain relationships with client project managers.
• Collaborate in a multi-discipline team to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor highway engineers in transportation construction planning and signaling/pavement markings.
