Job summary
Ford Racing in Michigan is seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Engineer with a strong background in driveline systems. You will drive concept‑to‑production driveline solutions for high‑performance vehicles, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to meet ambitious schedules and budgets.
The role requires leadership, deep powertrain knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years in driveline systems for high‑performance applications.
- In‑depth knowledge of current automotive powertrain systems.
- Significant plant‑manufacturing interface experience and issue resolution.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from conception through launch and production.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead driveline development from concept through production.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to meet deadlines.
- Ensure alignment with Ford GPDS deliverables.
