4 Corner Resources is seeking an experienced HEDIS Nurse (RN) for a hybrid role in Lower Manhattan, NY. The successful candidate will review medical records for HEDIS measures, abstract data, and maintain accurate records across EMR systems, including eClinicalWorks, while meeting productivity targets.

This contract position lasts 3-6 months, with the possibility of permanent hire after project completion, and requires an active RN license with HEDIS experience.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license; ASN or BSN accepted.
• At least 1 year of HEDIS medical record review experience.
• Experience with HEDIS measures: BCS-E, COL-E, EED.
• Experience across multiple EMR systems; ECW preferred.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

HEDIS Nurse (RN)

Location: Hybrid, New York, NY (Lower Manhattan)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, in the office Tuesday-Thursday each week

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: 3-6 months, then possible permanent hire

4 Corner Resources is looking for an experienced HEDIS Nurse for a hybrid role with one of our enterprise healthcare clients in Lower Manhattan. This role suits a Registered Nurse with HEDIS medical record review experience who works independently, can start contributing right away, and is comfortable moving between several electronic medical record systems in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.

HEDIS Nurse Responsibilities:

• Review medical records for HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) measures, validate supplemental data, and abstract clinical data.
• Pull and review clinical data from internal and external sources to support HEDIS reporting, regulatory submissions, and quality improvement work.
• Review patient records and identify the clinical information each measure needs.
• Enter and maintain data accurately across several EMR systems, including eClinicalWorks (ECW).
• Collect clinical data accurately, on time, and in line with compliance requirements, while meeting productivity targets and project deadlines.
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
• Handle confidential patient information carefully, following set procedures.

HEDIS Nurse Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. ASN or BSN accepted. LPNs will not be considered.
• At least 1 year of HEDIS medical record review experience (more than one HEDIS season).
• Experience with these HEDIS measures:
  • BCS-E (Breast Cancer Screening)
  • COL-E (Colorectal Cancer Screening)
  • EED (Eye Exam for Patients with Diabetes)
• Experience working in several EMR systems. eClinicalWorks (ECW) is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Able to work independently and get up to speed quickly.
• Stays composed and accurate in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Commitment to the full length of the project.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay rate: $38-45/hr
• Hybrid schedule: Tuesday-Thursday in the office in Lower Manhattan, Monday and Friday remote.
• Steady Monday-Friday daytime schedule, 40 hours a week.
• Possible permanent hire after the contract.
