Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Innovation Project Manager to guide healthcare innovation initiatives from discovery through enterprise adoption across the Veterans Health Administration ecosystem. You will partner with program offices, facilities, and external partners to mature solutions that improve care delivery and Veteran outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in project management, innovation management, healthcare transformation, management consulting, or federal health programs.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, with demonstrated experience organizing, analyzing, and presenting program information.
• Demonstrated project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to innovation leaders, program stakeholders, and healthcare teams across VHA.
• Plan, manage, and execute innovation projects from concept through pilot, evaluation, and scaling.
• Lead and contribute to multiple concurrent innovation initiatives with clear governance, timelines, and success metrics.
• Coordinate across VHA program offices, medical centers, clinicians, operational leaders, researchers, and external partners.
• Apply project management, change management, design thinking, and human-centered design to develop Veteran-centric solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and program trackers for leadership visibility.
