Responsibilities include coordinating payer communications, posting charges/payments, and maintaining HIPAA privacy standards while delivering exceptional customer service to patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills with data entry using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Thorough understanding of insurance billing procedures, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
• 3 years of physician office/medical billing experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels within and outside the organization.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process charges, payments and adjustments for services at NM clinics.
• Submit bills and invoices to clients, patients and insurers in a timely manner.
• Respond to inquiries with accurate information and provide high-quality service.
