UPMC Health Plan is seeking a Business Analyst II to join our team. The role is full-time and hybrid, with duties spanning data analysis, contract operational reporting, and development of process documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience in financial and/or medical analysis.
• Experience in health care insurance preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Access, Excel, Crystal Reports, Cognos, and similar software.

Responsabilités

• Manage timely and compliant interdepartmental implementation of DHS contract operational requirements.
• Own DHS required operational reporting and ensure quality prior to submission.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and answer questions.
• Act as SME and assist staff with questions and issue resolution.
• Identify variances, propose solutions, and explain them to management and stakeholders.
• Analyze trends in reporting areas and present findings to non-technical audiences.
