Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience applying healthcare data and analytics to support health care management, operational performance, population health, and strategic decision-making.
• Experience developing and implementing complex analytical solutions and interpreting large datasets using healthcare methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication translating technical concepts for business audiences.
• Bridge business and technical needs by translating objectives into technical specifications for analytic teams.
• Experience partnering with senior executives, operational leaders, and physician leadership on analytics strategies.
• Strong organizational and resource management skills; capable of leading multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and manage a staff of programmer/analysts to maximize information value.
• Develop partnerships with senior leaders to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Translate customer objectives into actionable information for decision-making.
• Lead design and production of customer-facing information with clear visuals and statistical validity.
• Initiate development of complex data sets and analyses for comprehensive understanding.
• Manage team resources to meet multiple customer needs and expectations.
• Communicate progress and warn of delays; propose alternative processes if needed.
• Provide leadership with knowledge of SAS, SQL, Tableau, Python, and R in production systems.
• Lead analytics and reporting capabilities to maintain market leadership in care management.
• Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing.
