Mercer is seeking an experienced Health Actuary Leader to join our Actuarial and Financial Consulting teams. This hybrid role (minimum of 3 days in the office) can be located at any Mercer office location across the United States.

The Sr. Principal Lead Health Actuary Consultant will manage client engagements on health benefits strategies, provide direction to analysts, and present deliverables to clients. Strong actuarial credentials and 15+ years of experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience in actuarial field, consulting preferred.
• ASA/FSA credential.
• Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Proven project management skills.
• Ability to work in teams and under tight deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Lead client engagements focusing on health benefits strategies, financial projections, plan design optimization, and renewal negotiations.
• Provide direction to analysts and associates, acting as primary financial client contact.
• Present deliverables to clients in partnership with senior client teams.
• Review analyses conducted by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness and proper use of models.
• Draft and review client reports or presentations to summarize findings and recommended strategies.
