Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Project Manager for Hardware Development to lead cross‑functional teams across engineering, product management, and manufacturing. The role focuses on delivering hardware and embedded software projects within an Agile framework, coordinating planning, execution, and readiness for release.

You will report to the PMO and may work from Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI, with travel as needed. The position emphasizes collaboration and disciplined project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
5+ years of relevant project management experience.
PMI/PMP or Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.
Experience in electronic hardware and embedded software development.

Responsibilities

Create and manage project delivery plans, budgets, and resource plans.
Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies across multi‑discipline teams.
Drive cross‑functional decision making and resolve project issues and risks.
Communicate progress and decisions to team and senior leadership.
Align projects with product roadmaps to optimize delivery.
