AAA Central Penn is seeking an Assistant Manager, Groups and Operations to lead the Discoveries Group Travel team, guide day-to-day operations, and craft memorable experiences for members and clients. You’ll balance outstanding service with business results in a fast-paced environment.

You will coach a team of Group Travel Specialists and Administrative Assistants, oversee budgets and records, and partner with leadership on staffing and goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people and managing operations.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Background in travel, tourism, or group travel preferred.
• Proficient in common business software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for the Discoveries Group Travel team.
• Coach and develop team members through one-on-ones and training.
• Address escalated customer service situations and remove roadblocks.
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing, procedures, and goals.
• Support sales growth and travel program events.
• Oversee records, budgets, reporting, reservations, contracts.
• Stay updated on destinations and suppliers to ensure top service.
