Job summary

Our Sunday Visitor in Huntington, Indiana, seeks a graphic designer to contribute to religious oriented customer orders. You will design, proof and prepare materials for production, moving projects from concept to completion while collaborating with the Appeal Team and customers.

You'll use Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator on a macOS environment, work in a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days on-site in Huntington, and occasionally remote for highly qualified non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design/arts or related discipline; commensurate education and work experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of design, layout, color and correction, and 4 color printing process preparation.
• 1-2 years of direct customer work preferred.
• Knowledge of printing presses desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design projects with Appeal Team and customers.
• Communicate with designers and internal/external staff.
• Handle professional customer calls and emails.
• Create and send 4, 2, and 1 color materials for in-house presses.
• Assist in designing printed and digital materials for Diocesan Annual Appeals.
• Suggest process improvements and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain timelines and production schedules to meet deadlines.
