Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of 21 semester or 32 quarter units of accounting including advanced accounting subjects.
• Either one year of entry level accounting or auditing experience or two years of technical accounting experience.
• California Class C Driver License; Live Scan clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs accounting assignments within the annual accounting cycle including setup, classification, trial balance, closing, and adjustments.
• Reviews accounting records, classifies revenue/expenditure, journals, trial balances and closing entries.
• Interprets financial regulations and standards; recommends implementation steps.
• Coordinates audits with internal and external auditors; prepares supporting work papers.
• Prepares balance sheets, revenue statements, and grant financial reports.
