Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology (JJMT EP) is seeking a Data Analytics & Dashboard Developer to design, develop, and operationalize dashboards and analytics with governed access to enterprise data assets. Hybrid schedule in Irvine, CA (2–3 days in office per week).

The role focuses on translating governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements into scalable analytics tools and intuitive user experiences that enable collaborators to derive actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience building dashboards, BI apps, or data visualization tools.
• Experience with BI platforms like RShiny, Tableau or similar tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata, and data management concepts.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and analytics solutions with governed data access.
• Integrate dashboards with enterprise data platforms, APIs, and metadata repositories.
• Incorporate governance, quality, privacy, and regulatory requirements into analytics apps.
• Build dashboards that support governance policies, data quality, lineage, and controls.
• Create intuitive data tools for the medical safety team to act on insights.
• Develop workflows for drill-down analyses across product, geography, and time periods.
• Ensure dashboards are scalable, performant, and accessible.
• Support data quality, lineage, metadata, and business glossary initiatives.
• Drive adoption and data literacy through training and documentation.
