Job summary

Solotech is seeking a US Customs Coordinator to support import-export operations and ensure compliance with U.S. trade regulations. This role coordinates activities, maintains documentation, and collaborates with brokers and internal teams for timely customs clearance.

On-site four days a week with one remote day, the position requires CCS certification, a bachelor’s in logistics or related field, and at least five years of import/export experience in a global environment.

Qualifications

• CCS certification or equivalent in customs.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, international business, supply chain management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in U.S. and international customs/import-export operations.
• Familiarity with tariff classification, origin rules, and clearance processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand Customs environment: tariff classification, country of origin and duty applications.
• Calculate duty impact to determine entry type in the U.S.
• Serve as primary contact for US Customs operations matters.
• Prepare export documentation and track shipments to Canada and other destinations.
• Collaborate with brokers and internal teams for compliant customs clearance.
