Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a candidate to work in GIS and database applications modeling electric utility distribution systems. The position requires understanding business processes related to design, construction, and operations, and the ability to create a connected model of the distribution system.

QA/QC duties are included and overtime may be required to handle emergencies. Entry requirements include 0–2 years of experience, knowledge of electric utility distribution systems, GIS

Qualifications

Knowledge of electric utility distribution systems.
Direct experience with GIS database or mapping systems, Drafting, Construction Inspection or Survey.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Analytical and detail oriented.
Experience with CORE and TRSi is preferred.

Responsibilities

Model electric distribution systems using GIS and database applications.
Perform QA/QC processes and support design, construction, and operations workflows.
Communicate findings and coordinate with teams to address priorities.
