Job summary

Dominion Energy's Siting and Technical Services team seeks a Senior Generation Development Analyst to provide geospatial analysis and decision-support for electric power generation projects from screening through development and permitting. You will ensure GIS applications and data stay accurate and accessible for the broader development team.

The role covers solar, BESS, natural gas, and emerging technologies, delivering maps, dashboards, and visualizations to inform site evaluation,

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in GIS analysis, geospatial data management, or a related technical field, ideally supporting energy, utility, or infrastructure development projects.
Proficiency with ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Pro; ability to manage GIS services and web applications.
Strong data management skills and ability to produce professional maps and materials for leadership.
Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams (environmental, engineering, permitting, real estate).

Responsibilities

Provide geospatial analysis and decision-support tools to identify, evaluate, and advance new generation projects from screening through permitting.
Develop executive-level maps, dashboards, and visualizations for project development decisions and leadership communications.
Collaborate with Siting and Technical Services and other teams to support site selection and project advancement.
Translate complex spatial data into clear deliverables for technical and non-technical audiences.
