Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a General Liability Associate Attorney in Hartford, CT for a full-time, hybrid role defending general liability matters. You will independently manage a litigation caseload while collaborating with senior litigators in a national firm setting.

Requirements include a JD with active CT admission and at least two years of general liability experience; additional exposure to products liability or trucking matters is preferred, with strong research and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of general liability litigation experience.
• Experience with products liability, trucking, or transportation matters preferred.
• Professional liability experience is a plus.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Legal project management experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a general liability litigation caseload.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and other litigation proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and partners on litigation strategy and legal projects.
• Communicate with clients and provide regular case updates.
• Manage cases efficiently from assignment through resolution.
