Job summary

DT Midstream in Houston seeks an engineer to apply intermediate engineering principles to natural gas facilities, pipelines, and related systems. You will assist planning construction programs, select routes, and develop tariff changes.

You will analyze operations, forecast performance, develop daily plans, and prepare technical reports for cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 3 years experience are required; strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
• Level II – 3 years of job-related experience.
• Experience with Synergi software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply intermediate-level engineering knowledge to natural gas facilities (pipelines, metering, valves, dehydration units, compressor stations).
• Evaluate pipeline systems using simulation models to assess transportation requests and opportunities.
• Analyze daily operations with simulation tools to forecast performance and identify underutilized capacity.
• Develop and monitor daily operational plans for gas movement from receipt/storage to delivery.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with internal departments with minimal supervision.
• Identify and frame engineering/operational challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
