IGT is seeking a Game Mathematician to design and analyze the mathematical models behind our games. You will contribute across the full game development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This is a hybrid role that can be based in Las Vegas, Reno, Austin, or Chicago. You will implement mathematical logic for prize determinations, develop models, and assist in producing production code and probabilistic sheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics required.
• Coding experience is required, with C# strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of probability mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Implements mathematical logic for prize determination to match specifications of math design.
• Participates in developing mathematical and statistical models; evaluates models for functionality and adherence to specs.
• Assists in writing and evaluating production code.
• Assists in providing theoretical par sheets showing probabilities and payouts via Excel or simulation.
• Uses proprietary tools to generate slot, bingo, and lottery math files.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure math is correctly implemented.
• Evaluates products in development and provides feedback.
• Delivers one or more projects on time as directed by management.
• Creates math documentation and project deliverables with accuracy.
