Federated Hermes is seeking a Business Specialist to support the operations, reporting and administration of Non-40 Act Funds in Warrendale, PA. This role involves reviewing new accounts, account maintenance, trading activity, data reconciliation, and reporting for management and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience required; degree in Business, Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of business experience required; 3+ years of business experience preferred.
• General knowledge of the mutual fund industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; Advanced proficiency preferred.
• Familiarity with databases for reporting, analysis, and data management preferred.
• Familiarity with data reconciliation and data analysis required.
• Experience identifying process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and automation opportunities preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review new accounts and account maintenance; monitor trading activity.
• Reconcile and analyze data; support reporting for management and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and support day-to-day operational needs of funds and investors.
