Job summary

DWS Group in Boston seeks a Legal Analyst to support fund disclosure and SEC registration processes. You will work with in-house counsel to prepare disclosure documents, manage SEC filing materials, and ensure regulatory compliance through detailed document reviews and data validation.

The role requires a BA/BS with some SEC registration experience, asset management familiarity, and strong analytical and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS, preferably with SEC Registration experience in a financial services setting.
• Asset management background and familiarity with the Investment Company Act is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mutual fund and ETF disclosure and reporting documents with counsel.
• Distribute SEC registration documents for comment and address feedback with counsel.
• Finalize SEC documents for filing and coordinate distribution with stakeholders.
• Prepare draft SEC comment/response letters for filing with the SEC.
• Perform analytical reviews of fund disclosure and reporting documents.
• Validate XBRL tagging for regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate with service providers and internal teams to finalize data and disclosure.
• Support complex projects including new fund launches and restructurings.
