Job summary

ITegrity, Inc. is seeking a skilled Database Developer to design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases and backend services using Java/Spring Boot. You will develop RESTful APIs, integrate with ReactJS front-ends, and optimize performance for scalable web applications in a hybrid work setup in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Responsibilities include schema design, stored procedures, SQL tuning, and ensuring data integrity, with collaboration across engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development with Spring Boot and Java 8+.
• Experience with PostgreSQL design, optimization, and management.
• Experience building web apps with ReactJS, Spring Boot, and HTML.
• Familiar with CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Solid RESTful API design and integration.
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Cloud deployment familiarity is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases with performance focus.
• Develop backend services and integrate with databases using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Create ReactJS and HTML front-ends to work with back-end services.
• Create database schemas, stored procedures, and SQL queries to support features.
• Troubleshoot database and server issues to ensure uptime and data integrity.
• Write unit tests and perform performance testing.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to meet project deadlines.
