Publicis Sapient in Arlington, VA seeks a Full Stack Java Developer with strong Angular frontend and Java Spring Boot backend experience. You'll build scalable RESTful services, leverage AWS deployments, and collaborate across engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver modern digital solutions.

The role emphasizes clean, maintainable code, security practices, and continuous learning in a hybrid work setting. Strong AI/ML integration and experience with OpenAI/Azure AI are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend Java development with a focus on Java Spring Boot, RESTful APIs.
• Experience in system design, decomposing complex problems into services and data models.
• Hands-on AWS production services deployment (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Experience with Angular (v2+) including components, services, routing, state management, HTML5, CSS3, TS, responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA and related Java frameworks.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design, development, and security best practices.
• Experience with Python for app development, automation, data processing, integration or AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Angular-based web applications.
• Build and enhance Java Spring Boot, RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to implement business requirements.
• Develop responsive and accessible UIs using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Consume and integrate REST APIs into frontend applications.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Write unit tests and support automated testing efforts.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
• Follow engineering standards and security guidelines.
• Continuously learn and share knowledge.
