Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a React.js Full Stack Developer on a 24-month contract in a hybrid setting in Newark, NJ. You will work on building scalable UIs with React and robust backend services with Node.js, REST/GraphQL, and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on React.js development with hooks and state management.
• Backend experience with Node.js and RESTful API design.
• REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices architectures.
• AWS cloud services experience (EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Docker-based containerization and deployment to AWS ECS/EKS.
• CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in AWS environments.
• Understanding of VPC, IAM, load balancing, auto scaling.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB or NoSQL; query optimization.
• Monitoring/logging with tools like CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, scalable UIs using React.js.
• Build backend with Node.js/Express or NestJS and RESTful APIs.
• Design and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices.
• Work with AWS services for deployment and hosting.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy to ECS/EKS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Apply cloud infrastructure concepts (VPC, IAM, load balancing).
