Job summary

Kastech Software Solutions Group seeks a seasoned Full Stack Developer (Python/TypeScript) to join the Developer Platform team in Greater Denver, CO. The role blends 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, delivering features across a Vue 3 SPA and Django REST backend.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-stack experience, strong TypeScript, Vue 3, Python, and Django skills, and a passion for scalable, user-focused applications within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Vue 3 (or equivalent framework), Python, and Django.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development and SPA architecture.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive features from concept through deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, Python, and Django.
• Design, build, and support RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Create intuitive, responsive user experiences within a modern SPA architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new platform capabilities.
• Work within a multi-package monorepo, leveraging shared libraries and reusable components.
• Build and support cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and modern development practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
