Job summary

ELIASSEN GROUP seeks a Full Stack Engineer to support portfolio managers and analysts within the High Income and Alternatives Technology team. The role centers on backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL, with some frontend work.

Hybrid onsite in Durham, NC or Merrimack, NH, and collaboration across teams to evolve the flagship platform. Responsibilities include testing, deployment, and production support, plus working with researchers and tech partners to refine requirements.

Qualifications

• Full-stack development with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
• Experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Production deployment and operational support experience.
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Agile development with incremental delivery and adaptability.
• Domain knowledge in fixed income and equities is a plus.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Kafka is a plus.
• Progress toward CFA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software focusing on Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
• Deliver backend services and contribute to frontend components as needed.
• Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across services and UI.
• Deploy, monitor, and support applications in production environments.
• Collaborate with researchers, portfolio managers, and technology partners to refine requirements.
• Contribute to development practices, standards, and strategies across teams.
• Support portfolio construction platform capabilities and related investment workflows.
