Job summary

SAIC is seeking a motivated Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our software team. This hybrid-remote role requires on-site work in Sterling, VA about twice a month and active collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will design and develop C#/.NET core applications, work with PostgreSQL, Docker, and modern DevOps tools, and contribute to RESTful services and middleware. Bachelor's degree required; US citizenship or DHS Public Trust eligibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and software development experience.
• US citizenship requirement or ability to obtain DHS Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand-ups as part of the software team.
• Develop C# .NET core applications and hardware driver components.
• Work with scripting languages: Bash, Python, PowerShell.
• Implement REST and dependency injection patterns.
• Support Docker desktop containers and PostgreSQL databases.
• Document software designs with diagrams and data flows.
• Use IDEs like VSCode and Git; operate on Linux and Windows.
• Provide Tier 3/4 engineering support for production solutions.
