Job summary

Verus LLC is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and optimize web applications. You will work across the stack, using Angular on the frontend and C# with ASP.NET Core on the backend, connected to SQL Server databases.

The role emphasizes collaboration within Agile teams, code reviews, and continuous improvement to deliver scalable solutions. Hybrid work arrangement applies after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-7 years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core).
• Extensive experience with Angular for building dynamic web apps.
• Expertise with SQL and SQL Server, capable of complex queries and optimization.
• Solid SDLC and agile methodologies understanding.
• Familiarity with Git and modern version control.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps concepts.
• Experience with unit testing (e.g., xUnit/NUnit) and Docker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: build responsive UI using Angular and modern front-end tech.
• Back-End Development: design RESTful and SOAP APIs with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Database Development: write and optimize SQL queries and manage schema on SQL Server.
• Collaboration & Agile Workflow: work with team leads, analysts, and developers; participate in reviews.
• Performance & Optimization: improve app performance, scalability, and security; troubleshoot issues.
• Continuous Improvement: stay updated on new tech and best practices.
