Job summary

Press Ganey is seeking an experienced Consulting Operations Analyst to analyze project financial and operational data, validate assumptions, and improve forecast accuracy. You will partner with Finance, Consulting Leadership, and Operations to drive efficiency, reporting automation, and data-driven decision making.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A or related fields, advanced Excel skills, and experience in KPI development and portfolio analytics, with a hybrid work model in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Consulting Operations, Business Operations, Financial Analytics, or related analytical function.
• Advanced to expert-level Excel skills, including data modeling, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA/macros.
• Experience developing executive dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
• Ability to translate large portfolios into actionable insights.
• Strong financial acumen with forecasting, budgeting, revenue analysis, and reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Kantata power user, supporting system administration, reporting, data governance, user adoption, and best practices while ensuring data integrity.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, KPIs, and portfolio analytics for leadership.
• Support revenue forecasting by monitoring scope, budgets, staffing, utilization, and billing.
• Analyze project performance to identify forecast risks by reconciling projections with data.
• Provide leadership with prioritized recommendations for corrective action.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and visual reporting conveying insights and recommendations.
• Design and implement automation using Excel, Power Query, VBA to improve data quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Consulting Leadership, and Operations on budgeting and planning.
