Dow Jones is offering a 10-week FP&A Financial Analyst Internship in New York City with a hybrid work arrangement. You will gain hands-on experience in budgeting and forecasting, partnered with mentors and senior leaders, during a program designed to develop practical financial skills.

You will build financial models, dashboards, and reports using Excel, Tableau, and SAP to inform strategic decisions and measure ROI.

Qualifications

Completed at least one year of school and are working toward a bachelor’s degree.
Desired Majors include Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, Economics or related field.
Desirable minor in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral).
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative work style.
High integrity with handling confidential information and data.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau and SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop financial models and dashboards to provide insights into KPIs and ROI of investments.
Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, efficiency, and quality.
Present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Provide reporting solutions using SAP and Tableau.
Support end-to-end project work from data collection to management presentations.
