Job summary

Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Cambridge site, is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to prototype and productionize data/AI solutions on Palantir Foundry. You will embed with domain teams, translating workflows into repeatable, scalable capabilities while ensuring operational durability and user adoption.

Responsibilities include end-to-end Foundry implementations, data modeling, and building user-facing apps.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in biomedical research, bioengineering, bioinformatics or related domain.
Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry is essential for this role, building and operationalizing solutions.
Strong programming skills across data and application layers.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Embedded delivery with domain teams to understand workflows and translate needs into shipped capabilities.
Build end-to-end Palantir Foundry solutions including data pipelines, transformations, and applications.
Ingest, transform, and model diverse datasets for analytics and applications.
Develop user-facing applications and integrate with upstream/downstream systems.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with product managers, data scientists, and platform teams.
Create reusable templates and contribute to internal playbooks and standards.
