Job summary

Penn Mutual Corporate Credit team is seeking an Analyst to join the PMAM investment group, performing rigorous credit research and financial analysis to support portfolio construction and risk management. The role offers exposure to senior investment professionals and growth within the desk.

Hybrid work environment with on-site three days per week in Conshohocken, PA, and a base salary range of $95,000–$115,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance/economics/accounting/business.
• 1–5 years of related experience in investment/credit research or similar.
• Experience with investment-grade and/or high-yield corporate credit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental credit research on assigned corporate sectors, including investment-grade and high-yield issuers.
• Develop forward-looking credit opinions on issuers, securities, industries and sectors.
• Analyze financial statements, business models, competitive positioning, capital structures, liquidity, leverage, cash flow generation and debt service capacity.
• Build and maintain financial models to support credit analysis, valuation, scenario analysis and investment recommendations.
• Identify primary and secondary market investment opportunities and present recommendations to portfolio managers and the broader investment team.
• Monitor existing portfolio holdings and communicate material credit developments.
• Prepare written research, investment recommendations and presentation materials for internal discussions.
• Interact with issuer management teams, sell-side analysts, rating agencies and other market participants.
