Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Senior risk management professional to lead first line risk initiatives within the business unit. You will oversee RCSA, control testing, issues management and risk reporting to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Risk Framework.

As SME and advisor, you will guide risk methodology, develop governance templates, monitor program performance, and coach Risk Advisors and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and guidance for the execution of key First Line Risk programs.
• Serve as SME and advisor on risk management methodologies and frameworks.
• Develop governance, templates, and quality standards for risk programs.
• Monitor program execution, identify trends and risks, and provide leadership with recommendations.
• Lead complex risk initiatives and projects with enterprise impact.
• Create executive presentations on risk exposures and program performance.
