Job summary

Dover Corporation, a global industrial company, seeks a Manager, Financial Reporting in Downers Grove, IL with a hybrid work arrangement. The role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and Consolidations and will oversee two US direct reports plus an offshore Lease COE team, coordinating across many corporate functions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive financial reporting experience, preferably with public company exposure
• Undergraduate accounting or finance degree required
• CPA certification required
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent project management and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professionalism and problem-solving mindset with collaborative approach
• Ability to mentor and develop direct reports
• Proficiency with financial systems and Excel

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation, review and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K under tight deadlines
• Lead annual preparation, review, filing and audit of Form 11-K and US Pension Plan financial statements
• Monitor evolving reporting and disclosure trends and perform benchmarking analyses
• Assist Investor Relations with quarterly earnings decks and materials
• Serve as SME on complex accounting topics (e.g., share-based compensation, EPS, debt)
• Oversee Lease COE team located in Cebu, Philippines
• Maintain accounting policy documentation and policy manual updates
• Coordinate with external auditors and drive process improvements
• Mentor and supervise the Financial Reporting team
• Review XBRL exhibits
• Handle ad-hoc projects
