Dover Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer, is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting in Downers Grove, IL. The role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and Consolidations and leads a team in the US with an offshore Lease COE in Cebu, Philippines.

Responsibilities include forming policies, coordinating with external auditors, and driving process improvements while ensuring timely 10-K/10-Q/8-K filings and high-quality disclosures.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant, progressive experience, preferably in public accounting and private industry at a public company.
• CPA required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent project management and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation, review and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K under a tight deadline.
• Manage annual preparation, review, filing and audit of Form 11-K and US Pension Plan financial statements.
• Monitor evolving reporting trends and perform benchmarking analyses for high-quality reporting.
• Assist Investor Relations with quarterly earnings decks and supplements.
• Lead and mentor the Lease COE team and cross-functional stakeholders on complex accounting areas.

This role will have a close working relationship with consolidations, corporate accounting, segment technical accounting, FP&A, segment CFOs, investor relations, tax, treasury, legal and HR.This role is responsible for developing and enhancing policies and procedures, as well as participating in business-critical projects.
