Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is partnering with a healthcare nonprofit to hire a Financial Analyst in Baltimore, MD. The analyst will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, partnering with leaders to monitor variances and support strategic initiatives.

The role reports to the CFO, offers exposure to executive leadership, and a hybrid schedule (3 days in Baltimore, 2 remote after training).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of work experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with audits is highly preferred.
• Healthcare/nonprofit accounting experience is desirable.
• Intermediate Excel required and Oracle NetSuite a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating and capital budgeting across departments.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Prepare monthly financial and operational reports with budget-to-actual analyses.
• Analyze financial statements and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist month-end close including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations.
• Support annual audits with schedules and documentation.
• Create financial models for initiatives and ROI analyses.
• Monitor budget performance with department leaders.
• Support long-range financial planning and capital spending.
