Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience with degree.
• Working knowledge of accounting area preferred (investments, insurance products, premium, tax).
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing; customer service approach.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data; may include ledgers, journal entries, fixed assets, inventory, and financial statements.
• Reviews and audits expense reports for guidelines compliance.
• Resolves questions and guides colleagues in problem resolution; may provide guidance to others.
• Ensures transactions are recorded accurately and timely; reconciles and investigates discrepancies.
• Prepares financial statements and reports; supports multiple bases of accounting and financial reporting.
