Job summary

Katcon, a global Tier 1 supplier, seeks a Finance Manager in Auburn Hills, MI. This hybrid, full-time role oversees FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to enable strategic decisions.

You’ll monitor cash flow, control costs, review capex, and partner with operations and leadership to improve financial performance. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in finance roles, with strong ERP/Excel and BI tooling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or related functions.
• Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Experience in accounting and financial reporting, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and audit support.
• Knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, product costing, margin analysis, and operational performance improvement.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, financial reporting, and business intelligence tools.
• Understanding of compliance, internal controls, risk management, and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure compliance and support audits.
• Monitor cash flow, manage cost controls, and review capital expenditure proposals.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to evaluate business cases and improve financial performance.
• Develop and enhance financial processes, tools, and dashboards to drive operational efficiency.
