San Francisco Health Plan is seeking a Manager, Finance to lead a team focused on budgeting, reporting, revenue accounting, and coverage program accounting. You will oversee annual operating, capital, and enterprise project budgets and ensure regulatory financial reporting accuracy across all lines of business.

You will manage monthly/annual close, coordinating with external auditors and regulators, and drive process improvements while guiding staff development.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience in a healthcare organization; managed care plan experience preferred.
• Experience with enterprise financial systems and implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead budget, reporting, revenue accounting, and coverage program accounting for all lines of business.
• Oversee development and monitoring of annual budgets across operating, capital, and enterprise projects.
• Manage monthly/YTD variance analyses and present to Finance leadership.
• Coordinate regulatory financial reports monthly, quarterly, and annually; include medical loss ratio reporting.
• Lead rate development and bid submissions with actuarial and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee revenue recognition and reconciliations across programs.
• Coordinate month-end close with Accounting to support results.
• Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls improvements.
• Respond to data requests from external regulators and auditors.
• Mentor staff, set goals, plan workloads, and perform evaluations.
