Job summary

WuXi AppTec is seeking a Sr. Manager of Finance to lead the finance staff and act as a strategic partner for US Testing, Biology, and operating units in a hybrid role based in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

The position covers monthly reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, commission modeling, and data reporting to the China corporate team, with oversight of the data warehouse and Power BI data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring staff.
• Experience in life sciences, CRO, pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• History of interfacing with Sr. Management and presenting financial results.
• Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains, JDE, SAP S/4) and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide business partner support for US Testing, Biology, and US operating units.
• Communicate monthly financial variance analysis, KPI tracking, and cost-saving progress against goals.
• Lead monthly/quarterly forecasting and long-range planning.
• Partner with sales leadership to develop, maintain, and prepare commission calculations for US/EU sales.
• Prepare financial information for COO’s executive presentations.
• Manage, coach, and develop finance staff, including goal-setting and performance reviews.
