Job summary
Oriental-Bank is seeking a Finance & Accounting Analyst to support managerial accounting, financial reporting, and analytics across multiple units. You will assist with month-end close, journal entries, and KPI reporting, enabling leaders to make informed decisions.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, at least two years of related experience, and strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills in English and Spanish. Hybrid work based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum two years in accounting, finance, or financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities across multiple subsidiaries.
- Prepare journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Develop KPI reporting, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Perform profitability, cost, and managerial analyses for leadership.
- Support Workday reporting initiatives and dashboard development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and controls.
