Job summary

Penguin Solutions Professional Services is seeking a skilled professional to install, configure, and troubleshoot complex HPC, cloud, and enterprise environments at customer sites. The role emphasizes hands-on deployment and documentation to support AI and HPC workloads.

You will work in a hybrid role based in Durham, NC, with travel up to 60%. Candidates must have 3+ years of UNIX/Linux experience and US citizenship. RHCSA/SUSE CE, Ansible, and experience with HPC tools are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
3+ years of hands-on UNIX/Linux server experience.
Experience with Linux TCP/IP configuration.
Familiarity with Linux basics such as systemd, firewalld and kickstart installation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
US citizenship is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Install, document, configure, troubleshoot, and repair deployed solutions at customer sites.
Provide hands-on deployment of Penguin Computing's solutions.
Perform in-factory and on-site racking, cabling, and software installation.
Test and troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues.
Contribute to documentation and training materials.
Travel up to 60% as required.
