Job summary

Grey Street Consulting, LLC seeks a part-time Finance Subject Matter Expert to support the U.S. Government Publishing Office. Hybrid work arrangement, with potential on-site days as needed. Requires extensive federal budgeting and accounting expertise, CPA certification, and CGFM credential.

You will analyze budgets, prepare financial data, and assist in the development of policy and fiscal reporting, engaging with legislative committees and internal stakeholders in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a business-related, management, or legal field.
• Active CPA license required.
• Certified Government Financial Manager Professional Certificate.
• 15+ years of Federal experience applying, interpreting, and advising on budget and appropriations law.
• Preferred instructional professional teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Review operating budgets, analyze trends, and project financial results.
• Prepare and process data for cost estimates, reimbursements, and managerial cost accounting.
• Support preparation of GPO’s annual budget request to the Legislative Branch Sub-Committee.
• Evaluate five-year capital expenditure requirements and major purchase plans.
• Provide guidance on budgeting procedures and regulatory reporting.
